It connects patient care windows (demand) with caregiver availability (supply) in a clean, calendar-based interface built for desktop. Whether you’re managing the next hour or next month, ALE gives schedulers full visibility and control.

Calendar Views That Work the Way You Do

Administrators can view schedules by day, week, or month — toggling between patient-first or caregiver-first perspectives. The Weekly View offers a grid layout with patients on the left and days across the top. The Daily View offers hour-by-hour control, while the Monthly View helps surface trends, gaps, and long-range planning opportunities.

Quick Scheduling from Any Angle

Clicking on a care window opens a smart assign modal — with only available caregivers shown. In caregiver view, hovering over open time slots offers one-click patient assignment. Built-in validation prevents double-booking, scheduling conflicts, or assigning outside availability. Hover tooltips display shift details, and scheduled blocks include patient, caregiver, and timing information.

Prioritize Urgent Coverage

The right-hand Urgent Coverage column highlights unassigned care windows in the next two weeks — color-coded by urgency. One click jumps the admin straight to the relevant patient schedule to assign a shift. It’s always visible, so schedulers can act fast when gaps emerge.

Search, Filter, and Take Action Fast

The global search bar and filters let admins find exactly what they need. Filter by shift status (Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Not Covered) or caregiver availability. These tools work consistently across all calendar views, so no workflow interruptions are needed.

Audit-Ready Shift Details

Click any scheduled shift to expand into a full detail view. It includes patient and caregiver information, care location, time range, clock-in/clock-out records, and any attached notes. This creates a full audit trail for every shift — ensuring compliance and accountability.
